Missing UFO!

I like this centerpiece and I like the beads but for some reason when I put them together, they remind me of a UFO gone missing.

Guilt Free, Fat Free Ice Cream

Okay, So I am tyring to lose at least 10-15lbs.

But I am totally addicted to ice cream. It puts me in my happy place in addition to soothing my aching throat.

Okay, these sound like excuses to eat the stuff , but seriously, it calls my name, it tells me it loves me, it makes me happy.

Plus, it doesn't talk back or complain! Anyway, enjoy!

No Spring Chicken

I am in the process of designing childrens jewelry in my daughters name, Mimi & Co. (a.k.a. Miriam).

Iam so excited with the results so far.

Fall Festival

My version of a cross in these delicious fall colors. It's almost time for Fall Festivals, cake walks, leaves changing.

I am so excited, it is my favorite time of the year. I will be baking cookies with my children, learning new crafts and sharing with them and building my business.

I haven't unveiled it yet, but Mimi and Co., my daughter Miriams' business is in the making. Miriams' company has jewelry for little girls right now and we will be adding a little boys line.

We are developing Mimi and Co. bead kits for my little angel and yours, who are old enough, can make their own designs.

Busy Muse

My gorgeous, gigantic, muse is out of control. I am making Christmas jewelry, beautiful children's jewelry and submitting my designs to various magazines.

I don't have the legions of fans YET and am not YET making a SERIOUS living from my design work but TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!

New Work

I spent the weekend working on new jewelry, but I have caught the publishing bug.

TRUE LOVE

I never thought I would be a mom, now I have two children. I love them like nothing else in this world.
I have to say that there is nothing like having a girl and especially one that looks just like me.
This is Miriam and I am going to begin designing childrens' jewelry. She is my inspiration for this and the name of her business, I have already started, is Mimi & Co. (Her name is Miriam Michelle).
Look out world, Miriam is on her way.

The Silver Lining

Every cloud has a silver lining. Yesterday, my aunt, my moms' sister died unexpectedly. I should say unexpectedly to us but God always knows best, whether we see it or not.

I was really sad for alot of reasons but quickly realized, she has gone home to be with God, she will see her mom, her dad, her son, her aunts. She is made whole in God's perfect way and that is an amazing thing.

Don't just say you love someone, the bible says, " If your brother or sister crys, you cry, if he or she rejoice, then you rejoice with them. SHow love and be love.

So today, rejoice with me, that God is still on the throne, His son, Jesus made a way for us, that all might enter into His glory and for that I am grateful. Change your life today: Pray, read and believe: Romans 10:9. To God be the glory!

Marvin's Baubles

I have turned my attentions to adding a really great Men's Collection to my line, these handsome, beaded bracelets, are made with polymer clay beads, I designed.

These two belong to my hubby, he wears them and loves them.

Look for an upcoming article where I interviewed Marvin (my gorgeous husband), about his love affair with accessories and color and what men look for when they purchase accessories.

Praise God. Ponswan Sila is back designing jewelry and Ada, her daughter, is on her way home!! God rocks!

A Life Less Ordinary

I found out on Saturday, that two of my designs are going to be published in one of my all time favorite magazines. How did it happen?

I fasted, I prayed, I BELIEVED and then I sent an email to the Editor with five designs of my work and they chose two of those designs.
I was so excited, I could have passed out.

Anyone that knows me, either loves me or hates me. I live out loud, I live in technicolor, I know whose I am, which is a child of the Most High God and I don't try to hide it.

I believe that we can do anything we choose to do, if we set our minds to do so. I believe that no and can't are words that come from hell itself.

Be bold, be courageous, be prayerful, be patient and then just BE all that God has created you to be.

I have decided to take my work into a new direction, so if you follow along with me through this progression, you will see :Greater Detail and Higher Quality..

I have been called to excellence by my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and my work should reflect that. I am not an Art and Crafts person, I am a creator of Fine Art and my designs and pricing should reflect that.

Over the coming months, I pray that you will see the change and embrace the change of the new direction my work is taking.

When I got started, I decided on my target market, yet my designs have not reflected that. I fasted and God answered, so be prepared to join me on this new Artistic Adventure.
